TOUR FOOD: BERLIN

Berlin ruled. Definitely one of the best stops of the tour. We had one full day off here so we were able to wander around and visit museums, galleries, record stores, walk alongside a canal, wander a famed Turkish market, eat Indian food, eat Russian food, eat German chocolate and oh I had my first authentic German schnitzel ever, served with little mound of fried potatoes and scallions and wedges of lemon, so good. Undue thanks to Berlin/Brooklyn resident Crissy for providing me with basically a pitch-perfect list of stuff to do. Oh and Sash perhaps you’ll appreciate the insane vegan borscht I had there? So thick it was practically like a beet puree. Beet baby food. Heaven!
