JAMAICAN ME CRAZY PT II

[Fried conch fritters — so sweet and a little rubbery!]

[Fisherman's stew with corn]

[The most relaxed I've ever seen Adam. Ever.]

[Stocking up on mangoes and other tropical fruits at the market.]

[One of the private patios at the Rockhouse.]

[I've been trying to come to terms with the fact that I will never eat jerk chicken this good for probably the rest of my life.]

[A glimpse of the Rockland's outdoor restaurant, like the bow of a ship.]

Jamaican Me Crazy Pt. I here.

If you’re ever in Negril and want to stay somewhere really special, please go to the Rockhouse. We slept in thatched stone huts (like this) that were equipped with outdoor showers surrounded by banana trees. Our villa even had its own private diving board and ladder into the ocean. We began every morning in their outdoor restaurant where we shared a tropical fruit plate and delicious Jamaican coffee. Some days began with a chill yoga classes, and other days we hung out with the Rockhouse’s rad chef Kevin. But most nights ended with a midnight swim in their infinity pool. Because we went in June (Jamaica’s off-season!), the hotel had a really mellow, intimate vibe that we loved. Hugely recommended.
