  1. I know. I once saw breakfast as a quick necessity, but these days I am ob-sessed with the idea of a nice breakfast on the terrace. Thanks for this inspiration.

    • yes! the weather here has been unseasonably warm – like in the 80s, no humidity, and blue skies for days – so we have been taking every opportunity possible to enjoy our meals on the terrace. eating outside somehow makes the food taste better!

  2. “no bum like a reformed bum.” there’s probably something really wrong about that statement, my grandma used to always say it. i should re- frame. “there is no person who likes breakfast like a person who used to dislike breakfast that no longer dislikes breakfast.” uh, not really. i’ll work on it, you get the idea. pretty sure i told you to reclaim breakfast and pretty sure that’s what you have done. HARDCORE.

    • dude i do not even recognize the person (me) who used to not only disdain breakfast (and brunch) but actively dislike it. years and years of being an adult and only having consumed coffee until 12pm. what was i thinking?!?! breakfast RULES! thanks for leading me into the light. : )
